Testimonies of Africa

In 1974, from a journey in Cameroon, she brought back testimonies of the everyday life in Africa : Marguerite, to Survive... And this big painting which was exposed to the Show of the Women Painters of 1974, drew the attention of the press : "This year the artists of the beautiful sex took "to survive" for subject of their show, but little treated it - about twenty and in a rough way - apart, in my opinion, Martinez-Richter, who in a bare style, knows very well how to testify of its feelings."

Le Cahier des Arts, in April, 1983, published under the feather of the critic Vic-Daumas, an also laudatory article :

"Prize of Rome of painting, State professor, wife of a painter of high quality, early disappeared, Martinez-Richter made a brilliant career which she continues enthusiastically, her message which she transcends thanks to a perfect knowledge of the "profession" being inexhaustible, and her love of the immense art. Her domain : the Big Shows, the big paintings, the fight with the material, and many humanity... "
